Huh. Just Like That.

Okay, well.

Maybe my old blog was cursed, but I’m pleased to announce that at 10:00am, I sent a query to an agent that I’ve got much respect for. His name is Michael Bourret and he’s responsible for a fellow author’s book series being picked up.

I’m talking about Heather Brewer and her upcoming Book # 1 (in the series) Eighth Grade Bites.

A mere 26 minutes later, the good Mr. Bourret sent me an e-mail asking to read the full manuscript for THE SHORT BUS JOURNAL.

*cue the backflipping midgets and strike up the band*

Needless to say I’m EXTREMELY excited. I know it’s just a small step toward…uh, the next step, but it’s a step!
