Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that. I just hate it when things we are eagerly anticipating fail to meet those expectations!

Well, I went on my Friday with my Big Times Indy Fan husband.

I enjoyed it and I think I talked him into enjoying it, too. The plot is no less plausible than any other Indy movie, if you ask me. The jokes weren’t very much sillier.

Neither of us cared for the CGI look, but I eventually decided what what I see as “bad lighting” is really “new lighting”–as in, we see it as “It looks like a video game!” and the younger generation sees it as “normal.” So I will have to adjust.

I’m not sure how I would’ve felt about the story’s end if I’d gone into without my recent String Theory kick, but whatever. It was fun.

I went to see Indy this past Sunday…THE INDY 500!!!!! I go every year. But I’m hoping to get out and catch the new Indiana Jones film. I don’t go to a lot of movies, but this one is on my list–as was Ironman, which I loved.

On an unrelated note, I filled up my pants with Pancake Puffs this morning before coming to work. It’s so liberating!

Bad? Yes. Deliciously bad? Sort of.

But come on…the ants were cool! 😀
